What is South Lake like to live in?

Lovely area and quite well located for the price. The transmission lines are a real shame for the area appeal.

It's nice, still cheap to buy and rent and close to shops, freo, freeway for the city and public transport. I like how quiet the suburb is (i can hear the birds chips all day long) and the parks all around

I am most I speak to love the area.People are starting to invest themselves and reno their houses and it was good before but is really on the up with council investment.

I know a few people living out that way and most are pretty happy. Good shopping and schools nearby, freeway access not too far, Fremantle not too far away. But it depends on what you are looking for and which area you end up in -s ome are better spots than others. Personally I don't like the huge electrical stations and wires running by and they are a little hard to ignore.
