"Spring Hill Agent, We're not No.1, You Are!"

I have been selling residential properties in Spring Hill for about 8 years. It is a small discrete suburb adjoining the CBD and Roma Street Parklands & Victoria Park.

Great for

  • Medical facilities, parks, school

Not great for

  • Parking, small lots, narrow street

"Fallen in love...."

I have been a resident and also a Property Manager in Spring Hill for the past 12 months.

I have fallen in love....

I have always lived in the southern suburbs and now that I have had a taste of innercity there is no going back.

The great thing about Spring Hill is that there is always something going on there is such a massive range of people. You have a little run down cottage on your left and a million dollar prestige property on your right.

I can sit out on my front balcony with a glass of wine and watch as people walk by. Office people, families, trendies, people walking their dog, runners/joggers/walkers and then a bit of an off one... very entertaining. Then on Sunday afternoon I can sit out in the back courtyard... again with wine.... and listen to the dance class happening at the Hall at the park. Bliss

Cafes, Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Pubs, Parks and Shops are all at your finger tips.

Spring Hill is certainly not for the faint hearted but certainly an amazing place to live!

What do you think the Olympics will do for Spring Hill? Thanks for being the eyes and ears. I look forward to moving in on retirement.

"why arent there some more cool restaurants in spring hill?"

i love spring hill but we need more funky restaurants. this is the best place in Australia - a $5 cab fare to the valley and the city but i want more restaurants here. Park Street is a good street - we live on Water Street. I go up Park street to the gym. What a beautiful little street.

Yes, if Spring Hill had more cool restaurants and coffee shops, it would certainly change the demographics of the place. But in order for this to happen, more places need to be "created" to accommodate these changes. The smallness of Spring Hill is both its charm and negative.

Hi ,why don't you contact me and let me know what you are looking for and I will see if I can help you. I am a RE/MAX agent and have specialised in selling in Spring Hill for about 8 years. I have just put "under contract" 115 Rogers Street, Spring Hill and recently sold 11/88 Isaac St and 119 Union Street.

"Spring Hill has Sprung"

Spring Hill is one of my favourite suburbs in Brisneyland. It's sandwiched (in a good way) between the city and Fortitude Valley and kind of personifies what's great about both of them. It has the high class feel and socio-economic demographic of owner residents, while maintaining it's hip street cred with gay and lesbian bars, excellent restaurants, funky shops and the cutest little workers cottages. Raised higher than the CBD (Thus the HILL part of the name) it is often cooler than the city and gets some great views. There are some fantastic hotels in the area for example, The Watermark, if you're planning on visiting. House prices are astronomical, as you'd well expect, but your return is pretty much guaranteed. An excellent suburb, in the heart of things, but still with heart.
