About to choose between St Kilda Park Primary and St Kilda Primary for my 5yo.

Just moved to Melbourne after years in the UK (originally from Sydney) so don't have any local friends who might be able to give their thoughts. A couple of people warned me off St Kilda Primary (needles in the park etc etc) but it looks great from the outside and is physically closer to us than St Kilda Park. So just wondered if anyone out there could add any sides to the discussion. Any thoughts/recommendations/reviews or warnings much appreciated!
