Have had children attend here for many years. The 2 main schools are Strathfieldsaye primary & St.Francis. People are very clicky and keep to their groups here. Once all the children finish Kinder here it's "what school is you r child going too?.....ohhhh l see." Don't be suprised most of "those" mums attend St.Francis! Once they attend that school- you are no longer anything much!
Also it's- where do you live- oh right. And trust me there is nothing special out here - just the bushland. No beaches, no huge veiws, no anything that captures the wow factor. There is a huge Lake- Lake Eppalock that is 10mins away. Great for skiing, jetski's etc. Not sandy and clean at all. Great for fishing though.
Can be very boring lifestyle unless you are involved with intown sports in Bendigo, or like to shop, cinema & hobbies.
I have found the honesty, helpfulness & support in Styrathfieldsaye to be very false & very into themselves. Such a shame. As now it's really time to leave & enjoy what life is all about! There is a world out there- something Strathfieldsaye seem's to forget!

Great little community has one of everything Theres not much competition for anyone to keep prices on food and everyday living expenses down . Short trip to Strathdale Village for retail therapy or go the whole hog into Bendigo or the many many other shopping precincts around Bendigo. Theres a retail centre near everyone here.
