"Liked it but prefer the serenity of Headland Park"

Enjoyed living here for a period but have since moved back slightly to the serenity of Headland Park which feels more established, tropical and is higher up the mountain which will benefit in years to come. Alex Headland beach is the best on the coast in my opinion and has beautiful vibe all year round, great for nippers etc for the whole family.

"Great place to live or have a reaxing holiday."

Alexandra Headland is on the sunshine coast of Queensland about an hour north of Brisbane. Alex, as it is sometimes known has everything both a local and a tourist could want. The beaches here are great and offer good surfing conditions yet safe swimming between the flags. Alexandra Headlands has a wonderful surf club with meals, entertainment and of course a cold beer. The club offers great views of the beach. There is good shopping, great restaurants and plenty of accommodation in caravan parks, motels and hotels. Being so close to Maroochydore’s major shopping centres is a plus, play golf, indulge in all manner of water sports or go cycling. Visit the Sunshine Coast theme parks, laze on the beach or explore the great sights of the hinterland.

"Just the greatest place to live or holiday."

Alexandra Headland is just a few k's out of the hustle and bustle of either Maroochydore or Mooloolaba. In fact, it is just between the two. The beach is great, there is a good park with facilities for children, a skate park for the older kids, a surf club and about a 30 min walk to shopping in Maroochydore or wining and dining in Mooloolaba.

There are plenty of highrises along Alexandra Pde and there are also two very well kept and popular caravan parks in the area.

With no shortage of things to do Alex it is a great place to holiday. Very laid back and a friendly place to be.

In Alex proper there are some restaurants and cafes which are very well supported by locals and holiday makers alike.
