"As good as Caroline Springs"

Burnside and Burnside Heights has all the benefits of living in Caroline Springs, without the congestion of traffic.
Larger and wider lots with more double fronted homes.
Also located in Burnside Heights is Kororoit Creek Primary School, a highly regarded school.
A very family and community oriented suburb.
Strongly recommended.

"Best Suburb"

After living in 9 suburbs, I have finally found my dream place. Burnside is very safe, quiet and clean and has lovely parks and scenery. I just moved in a couple of months ago and I have already met most of my neighbors, they are all so friendly and most of them been living here for 15+ years. This shows how lovely and safe Burnside really is We lived 2 mins walked away from 3 bus stops, (two to Sunshine and one to Highpoint). Reason why this is so convenient as my elderly parents cannot drive in a few more years, very handy when it such a short walk away.
In terms of location, it is only a 25-30 mins drive to Melbourne CBD and Tullamarine Airport. Only a couple of minutes drive to so many Petrol Station, 90 secs drive to Mcdoanlds/KFC/Bunnings/Officeworks/Honda etc. Only downsize is Burnside Hub is quite small, they only have two coffee shops, and only have Coles and Chemist warehouse. Although Caroline Springs Shop is 5 mins away, it is still a small shopping centers. If I want to go to a big shopping center (500+shops or to the cinemas) I have to go to Sunshine (10mins), Highpint (20mins) or Watergardens (15mins). Every day I walk around my neighborhood and ride my bike, this is the best feeling ever, passing the nice lakes, parks and waving at friendly people in the neighbourhood. After a long day at work, all my stress are gone!!!
I have made the best decision of my life moving to Burnside. Although I have a big mortgage at the movement, I am so happy and I always look forward to go home. I cannot wait to have a family and my kids will definitely love growing up in Burnside as this is the best suburb ever. I am only 27 and I can see myself retiring here.

"Wouldn't live anywhere else!"

Moved in from Sydney in January as we built in Modeina Estate. I was quite optimistic about the whole move and 3 months in, my expectations were all met if not surpassed.
Our neighbours are fantastic, the shopping centre is just about 2-3 mins drive away (big plus for having Aldi!), we're 25 mins to the city, there are 2 public hospitals within 9 & 12kms. We're close to Caroline Springs lake - great for walking and lots of restaurants within minutes.
Caroline Springs station is ongoing which can improve public transport. In terms of traffic, I do shift work so I miss rush hour by default.
Like I said, living im Burnside was one of the best decisions we ever made. Couldn't recommend it more.

Great for

  • 25 mins to the city
  • Close to Caroline Springs Lake & Town Center
  • Good Parks

"Burnside - I feel like I'm on holiday everyday"

After living in the inner city suburbs of Prahran, Toorak and South Yarra most of my life the very thought of living anywhere else never entered my mind, until one faithful house warming that I attended in Burnside. To say that I was quite hesitant to move to the western suburbs would be an understatement, but the tree lined streets reminded me of my childhood home in Prahran and I was in awe of the beautiful homes and lifestyle. I finally made my decision to move to Burnside two years ago and I could not be happier, I sold a small property in South Yarra and was able to purchase what other people have described as a 'mansion', though not quite a mansion in the tradional sense, I must admit it is very large though. Burnside is quiet, safe and if I you drive straight down Westwood Drive/Robertsons Road and get on the Ring Road it can take under 20 minutes to get to the City, which for anyone who has lived in the inner City and has had to tolerate the traffic on a regular basis just to get some groceries is heavenly. So in summary my pros are, quiet, value for money, safe, affordability, parklands/lakes, plenty of shopping (Woodgrove, Highpoint, Burnside, Caroline Springs and Sunshine Shopping Centers all very close) and easy access to the City and airport via Ring Road. My only cons would be internet coverage, I had to change providers as my previous providers coverage would drop out from time to time and in my business that is not good enough, but since the change in my internet provider everything is perfect. I am so glad I made the move here, everyone who visits can't believe what a beautiful area it is, if you don't believe me just take a drive over the westgate one weekend to see for yourself, 5 stars!

Great for

  • Only 20 minutes to the City and airport
  • Close to Caroline Springs Lake & Town Center
  • Good Parks
  • Local Primary School
  • Beautiful

I fell in love with Burnside Heights the very first time I visited this suburb. Now, after residing in the suburb for over 4 years I could not be happier with my decision. "Amazing - Im never leaving"

Burnside Heights is one of the newest suburbs in Melbourne and Victoria and is one of the best. It is a nice, peaceful suburb with great parks and playgrounds for the kids. It has an excellent school called Kororoit Creek Primary School and a great Kindergarten. It even has a large swimming pool if you would like to go swimming. And just across the road from that there is an AFL Oval and a gym. Burnside Heights also has a Cafe/Mini-Mart. It has no medical facilities but 1km away from the suburb, there is a Large Medical Department. Overall Burnside Heights is an excellent suburb to live in. My Rating: 9.5/10

"Best place to call home, sweet home"

Burnside Heights is located ideally in a perfect location. Especially Arbour Estate, once the WestWood Drive is completed, houses located in this estate will be less than 10 mins walk to Caroline Springs Lake & Town Centre. Also the new School with YMCA activities gives the much needed boost for this suburb. Newly opened Watervale Shopping Center is added bonus to this Suburb.

"Burnside Heights"

We moved into a home in Burnside Heights late last year and I have got to say that this is without a doubt the best suburb to live in. Even though, we were hoping to find a house in Caroline Springs, I am glad that we didn't as it can be quite busy there. We live just behind Caroline Springs shopping centre and it is perfect! Our neighbours are great and very friendly and you feel safe at all times of the day.
