Reviews of Chinchilla, QLD
"A great place to raise a family"
I moved to Chinchilla from Toowoomba in 2006 and was very apprehensive about the move due to the "small town syndrome" and thinking we would have nothing to do on the weekends. I was very much mistaken and now believe that Chinchilla is great place to raise a family. There is plenty of sports available for all age groups and there is always festivals/activities on the weekends throughout the year.

"Was my home for 19 years"
The town has a wide choice of schools for primary students. Churches there are many to choose from. The people I know are friendly and Kind. Has excellent childcare facilities. Town is quiet until the watermelon festival comes around then it is a hive of activity. There are many community focus events that happen throughout the year. Chinchilla Annual Show and the campdraft. There is work for those who are willing to work too. Good place to bring up a young family
