Reviews of Claremont, WA
"Love Claremont for location"
Love Claremont for location to the city and beaches. I'm not one for shopping so Claremont quarter ha no appeal to me at all. The people are lovely and everyone friendly in my area. Lots of schools and in my opinion on of the best public schools Shenton College. property prices here are a world of their own, the demand here is always strong at the moderate housing price range...a tough market to buy in, can't imagine my teenage kids will ever be able to afford to live here. Cafes and restaurants are better elsewhere, I find extremely overpriced to eat out in this area. I love walking and nature , great parks and lake claremont, also close to get to kings park and bold park. I'm in love with Claremont

Not great for

"The heart of the Western Suburbs"
Claremont is situated in the heart of the Western suburbs of Perth. With its proximity to the beach, CBD and river, this suburb boasts the perfect location for people with an active lifestyle. With a mixture of old character homes and new builds, Claremont offers a wonderful synergy between what is old and what is new. Claremont Quarter Shopping Centre has everything you need - from Groceries to Luxury. My favourite Italian restaurant, Bellissimo, located on Bay View Terrace is a must-do if you enjoy wonderful Italian cooking. As a Claremont local and real estate agent, I am lucky enough to witness the community spirit of my neighbours and people I talk to while walking my dog. Peaceful, tranquil, beautiful - Claremont really is the heart of the Western Suburbs.

"A mix of people... Town growing quickly..."
Claremont is another expensive western perth suburb... With a mixture of housing types from large expensive housing down to lower end council blocks. The transport links are great and the development of the shopping center has totally changed claremont...

Too much government housing, subdivision and apartment, more pricey grocery shopping than anywhere else in Perth.
