Reviews of Coolbinia, WA
"The best Perth inner north suburb for families!"
Beautiful safe and quiet family friendly suburb with great school zoning (Coolbinia primary and Mount Lawley high), stones throw to the cafe/bar strips (Mount Hawthorn, North Perth, Leederville and Mount Lawley), super close to the CBD, and easy access to the beach (20 minutes to Scarborough beach).
What makes it unique compared to the suburbs around it are the many secret gardens/parks behind many houses, and the covenant that prevents any subdivision, so almost the whole suburb is 800sqm+ blocks. It is a mix of character houses and modern dream homes.
The best streets are probably Armadale Crescent and Carnarvon - both high on the hill with views to the north or city skyline.
It is expensive to get into but that’s expected with a premium suburb, and it is probably a little undervalued just because many people haven’t heard of it. We upgraded from Mount Hawthorn to a bigger family home on 1000sqm and it was the best decision we made. We love living here!
