Do not recommend due to home invasion risks

Moving out after home invasion, don't go for cheaper suburbs like this, its not worth it

We moved out of craigieburn after home invasion incident. We ignored quite a few stories we heard and moved here but was a mistake. Although it looks nice, you get what you pay for at these cheaper suburbs.

Moved to craigieburn from Sydney a few years ago. So happy with the decision to settle here. We could barely afford a 1 bedroom apartment in Sydney but now we have a beautiful new house and backyard in Craigieburn. It's safe, easy commute into the city, and plenty of shops and amenities. Really happy living here

Craigieburn has been a great place to invest and live. There’s everything you need—shops, schools, and parks—plus easy transport access. Property prices are still reasonable, and rental returns are solid. It’s one of those suburbs people will wish they had bought into sooner!

Been in Craigieburn for 7 years, and it’s been a fantastic place to call home. The community is friendly and diverse, with great schools, parks, and shopping options. Public transport is reliable, and there is an easy access to the Hume Freeway. There are also plenty of dining options, which is a HUGE plus for me! It is a fairly safe and family-friendly suburb. Highly recommend it!

Love living here. It is generally a very safe area and it’s been amazing for our little family. My wife and I moved here with our son when he was just a newborn, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to raise him.

Parks are fantastic with great play equipment and play areas. The public transport is super easy, too!

Moved here recently from the Inner Northern suburbs so was a little apprehensive with the facilities and convenience compared to the inner north. Enjoying every moment so far, with convenient public transport (local buses and train station to connect to city) and ample facilities, including shops, restaurants/cafes, gyms and pretty much everything you need. Lovely community/family feel. Only negative I can think of are the drivers (everyone seems to be in a rush with tailgating, lane cutting and hooning a common occurrence) and littering as well.
