"The Suburb in Demand ......"
I have lived in highland park for 14 years and have never seen the suburb looking so good.... The owners are all very proud of their homes and gardens and it is such a pleasure to drive through each day. This said it has certainly helped increase the prices.... Well done all....

"Everything you need is right here!"
The only thing Highland Park doesn’t have is the beach, but it really has everything else! Cineplex Cinema Nerang has cheapest movie tickets on Gold Coast (also cheapest snacks) 4 op-shops, Aldi, Bunnings & Officeworks. Highland Park Shopping Plaza has the friendliest newsagent, great bakery & the friendly Poolwerx as well as gourmet Southern Cross Organic Butcher. Wonderful breeze, kangaroos & a variety of bird life. Three primary schools nearby & an indoor swimming pool. Nerang has a talented jeweller at Nerang Jewellers & Le Vintage retro cafè has incredible food!

Area is immersed within nature reserve and overlooks the Gold Coast
Away from the hustle of the Gold Coast and

"Best Balanced Suburb on the Gold Coast, Can't Find Fault"
Been living here the last 3 years and it was the best decision we ever made. Streets are clean, low traffic and wide. Good views of the city. Majority of people take care of their homes. Close to parks, shops and schools. Not too far from the M1 as well.
We regularly have Kangaroos visit us out the front of our place. Underground power and NBN.
Predominantly owner occupiers in our street, young to middle aged families.
Not to mention it is much better than a lot of suburbs on the GC and cheaper. For what it is, its extremely good value for money.
Property values here are outperforming a lot of other GC suburbs. People are starting to pay a premium to live here. Get in quick.

"Views to die for"
Our street in the "The Outlook" is beautiful, friendly, and peaceful. But the views are what this street is all about and they are amazing. Everyone in the street is considerate of their neighbour, is observant and house proud. We all get into the Christmas spirit. Please be careful if you come to visit, as we get Kangaroos in the street in the mornings and at dusk.
There are 2 distinct areas of Highland Park - the one on the hill with the views, beautiful homes and high owner occupier rates. The other area is low lying and close to the motor way. It has a high percentage of rentals and is viable to lower socioeconomic residents.

The 1 where snotty nosed pricks live & same 1 where there are also rental properties integrated is Highland Park in Nerang? I find most of the people fairly genuine, except for the pretentious sort
"Loving Highland Park"
We have lived in Highland Park for 8 years. We love it here. The views are AMAZING. It's 15 minutes to everywhere. We have great neighbours in a big wide street. We have always felt really safe and had never had a problem with theft. We are about to sell but will only move a few streets away. Worongary State School is fantastic.

"Far enough away to enjoy it all"
amazing views, pick your street though some agents call parts of nerang highland park to help resale. be sure where highland park starts and ends. Just ten mins Broadbeach beaces, shopping or 7 minutes to robina town centre. Picks are armstrong way, the outlook area, for architectural homes and views from high 500s to million plus. You will see the value at night when you enjoy the view and quiet surroundings. Shame you have to drive down nerangs alexander drive to access, thats the only downer but its worth it. Go for it, beats carrara, parkwood, pac pines ashmore for value and no need to stare at neighbours fences in highland park

Where is the graffiti.?
Graffiti...I Don't think so Kaye, we have no Graffiti. l think you may have the wrong suburb and are thinking of Highland Park in the United States..
"A great place to...drive through!"
Once again, I find myself apologizing for what I'm about to write. I Hate Highland Park with a passion!!
I get it, I get it...it's a lovely place to raise kids, there are great views of the Gold Coast skyline, it's the little Italy of the Gold Coast. But I HATE it. It's devoid of all character, (stylistic character anyway) and the architects that designed some of the abominations that apparently pass as houses should be hunted down, bounty style and sent back to Sardinia. The local schools are terrifying (I've taught in most of them) and completely lacking in control. The house prices are low and that is a bonus for first time buyers...just be warned. It's awful here....
You rate Pimpama better than Highland Park? WOW.
Houses set on a hill with views, with ocean views and breezes and houses that are made for living, not hot prefab housing set on flat blocks, l disagree totally with what you have said re the schools they are maintained and have new facilities, l have lived here for fourteen years and l would hazard to guess, you have a grudge perhaps with the management of the school at the time you were there.
Gosh thats so surprising as my neighbours are lovely & we are so happy here!
