Kings Langley, NSW 2147

Moved to Kings Langley 2 years ago and have loved every moment. Nice wide streets, no visible power lines and lots of green spaces. Great place to be.

I was born and raised in Sydney’s inner west and never saw myself living outside that bubble. We bought a property in Kings Langley last year and have no regrets.

The people are friendly, the suburb is family friendly, streets have lovely tree cover and the crime stats are very low according to recent bureau of crime statistics analysis.

No better way to pass the time then sit out on the balcony and enjoy the tranquility. Shopping centre in town and Bunnings close by have all been a plus also.

My husband is born and raised here and we’ve owned our home here since 2001.
Kings Langley is a hard area to get into due to supply and demand. Houses sell quick.
Kings Langley is a very tight knit community.
Most of our neighbours were here well before us.
It’s rare to have new neighbours in our street.
For those saying it’s dangerous (obviously you don’t live here) i challenge anyone to try and congregate outside in the street acting suss you’d have police called immediately and this was pre Covid 19.
A lot of parents just want to get into the school catchment to attend KLPS. The daycare next door to it has waiting list over a year to get in, my kids were on the waitlist each time. Well worth the wait.
Very little turnover in that centre.
The owner of the daycare was a local to the area.
Wouldn’t move anywhere else. There are many parks. The best is endeavour park.
Has exercise equipment, playground, bbq, shelter, toilets, dog park. There were 2-3 kids birthday parties on a day each weekend prior to Covid 19. Very popular.
Of course thugs want to hangout somewhere late at night somewhere nice and ruin nice things thats unfortunate. But These aren’t locals!
As I said if spotted they will be approached and told to leave or have police called. We report graffiti and the council will generally remove pretty quick.
In my time here I’ve only ever heard few incidents i have never personally seen any groups of people up to no good or anyone drinking or disturbing the peace.

The thing I appreciate is that we have everything on our doorstep.
At the kings Langley shop end theres both Coles and woolies, butcher, tab, post office, atms, cba, bws, liquorland, bank, bakers delight, chemist, optometrist and now a new amazing Thai restaurant. There’s real estate agents, sushi, kebabs, subway, seafood shop, Chinese.
2 dentists, one in shop one just before the kings Langley shops.
There’s a beauty therapist that’s just opened up across from the shops too. 2 nail salons and couple hair salons and a barber and a medical centre.
These are fantastic medical centres here in kings Langley equipped with nurses and pathology and I think physio and most likely other services. I believe these two Medical centres are linked.
There’s a massage therapy place opened not long ago as well.

At the tennis court end (Solander rd) there’s a smaller shopping complex with convenient store, another medical centre, hairdresser, Chinese, fish and chip, new cafe, chemist, bottlo and butcher.
Pretty much you don’t have to go far!
If you love your Kmart and Aldi personally we prefer to head to Stanhope. Quick drive. We always get parking and straight in and out.
I might be biased here, streets in the surrounds of endeavour park are better in my opinion. Maybe it’s why I don’t hear or see disturbances. If there is anything ever happening in kings Langley we hear it happening around Solander rd, Hutchinson cr, anywhere close to biketracks or backing onto the reserves where people can make a quick getaway. But that’s if anything. I hardly hear many issues these day.

The kings Langley community are the type of community to drop food off to your doorstep during these trying times. Give you toilet paper and milk when the shelves are bare.
It’s a very helpful compassionate community, unfortunately not everyone in this world is nice. That’s everywhere though, for the most part it’s a kind community.
There is a kings Langley kings park neighbourhood watch group run by police that keep an eye out and the community communicate within that group to clamp down on anything unusual, any crime etc

Commuting is pretty easy.
There’s bustops everywhere.
You can get bus to the nearby train stations or directly where you need to go sometimes without even getting off.

One thing I love is being so close to the norwest private hospital.
We can get there in minutes.
My kids were born there. My husband, kids and I have had elective surgeries there. Fantastic can’t rate the hospital enough. Our specialists work out of there. If you’re expecting, norwest cbd area has so many Obstetricians and most work out of norwest private.
To get blood tests or ultrasounds they are all right there in the norwest vicinity.
Minutes drive from your house. So convenient.

As for NBN well we’ve worked from home last 2 years. We are with Optus and little to no issues at all.
Great speeds. Only Issues have been planned work.

If you’re a city slicker maybe it’s not your cup of tea. If you like a very clean green suburban neighbourly family type community suburb than that’s what kings Langley is.

This is an area to get our of. Bogan central, near Parramatta, best if you are moving from a deprived area and don't understand Sydney real estate.

terrible schools and awful daycare. My son was crying each time, started to misbehave at home. As soon as we change the daycare to Only about Children at Macquarie his behavior changed and there was no more crying at the drop-off.
Parks at dangerous, lots of drunks and weird people around, dirty and unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this superb to anyone, especially families with kids. Stay away from this awful place.

Very beautiful suburb with lots of greenery. Power cables are underground, so you don't see the ugly power lines. Most of the Street have well maintained front yards. No board houses.

A hidden Gem very clean loads of family and pet friendly parks two sets of local shops

A beautiful place. So peaceful and a neighbourhood unlike most other places in Sydney

We moved into Kings Langley last year and love this area already. Neighbourhood is really nice, people actually greet you while passing by. Very quite, green and peaceful. Not the cheapest any more however still a decent value for money. Great place for families, shopping centres are fairly close by. I have no hesitation in recommending this suburb.

Our young family have been living in Kings Langley for 2 years now and we love the area. Neighbours are very friendly. Plenty of greenery and parks for the little ones. You always feel safe. It would be nice to see some better cafes/restaurants though. Still a 5 star suburb overall.
