All in all you get good value for what you pay considering how expensive Sydney real estate is. It has easy access to Sydney CBD via train link. But train journeys can be long considering the distance. Its close to hospital and WSU. Safety can be a concern in certain pockets around the train station. But I have never faced an issue while taking late night walks from station to my place.

Kingswood offers a diverse range of fairly affordable housing options (by Sydney standards) from apartments to free standing homes on good sized blocks of land. What makes Kingswood so good apart from being more affordable than most suburbs is the incredible convenience it offers. Being the first suburb East of Penrith everything is on your door step, like The Nepean Hospital, The University of Western Sydney, a range of public, Catholic and selective schools train station & more!!

Place is buzzing with life and full of amazing people. I guess some of these other reviewers are used to living in utopia and are scared of the dark smh. Kingswood is a haven for learning and family. I love living here and its so close to Penrith/blue mnts whilst being half the price. I AIN'T LEAVING! :)

You've got all the essentials you need around you. The area is quiet, and the locals are amicable. There is no nightlife, not even in Penrith. You can't find any bar (real bar, not a restaurant), any entertainment areas or such, but it's clean, green, and surrounded by educated people who are keen to talk to you like a friend. Dodgy people? Addicts? Yes, you can see them around the train station. That's not as bad as described in some reviews, but it makes you a bit uncomfortable at night walks.
I've been living in Neutral Bay, Mosman, Epping and now Kingswood. Considering the rent we're paying, I can say we're certainly having much more fun here with a different and lovely lifestyle.
Do I recommend this area? Yes, if you like family-style life and you're not looking for bars, nightlife, and showing off your expensive truck, as you will see many super expensive 4WDs here around.

Kingswood In coming days it will very accessible to new Airport , Straigh Northern road to airport. The Hospital is also expanding as Medical research centre to create more jobs in future. To live near around Kingswood or In kingswood is best option. The property prices are increasing due to high demand. Schools , Tafe & Unitversity campus, shoping centre Caddens corner is near by. People are friendly and peple not from Local though this place is not good. It's very best place to stay , easy approach to Train, schools for a family and for Old people medical centre's and hospital is around the corner.

A good suburb for a family , lots of park / playgrounds. Schools & Railway station near by. You can catch express train service to city from Kingswood. For old people they have medical / hospital on short distance.

I have been living in Kingswood near to the Primary School which is best in the area. You have Napean hospital TAFE and Western Sydney UNI. Transport is quite good with both bus and train option. I was very spectical looking at online reviews but we made a decision as School was on top of our priority list. It been over 2 years living here with my family and I can say with complete confidence that the area is safe.

Kingswood is ok other then the housing commission side anywhere else is ok .
The train station is like mt druitt station st marys and parts of the city u found some people on drugs everywhere.
The area is cheap for low income workers .other then that its quiet .
