Reviews of Koroit, VIC
"Beautiful, friendly town"
Whenever I have been to Koroit, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and lovely. The cafes/takeaway shops are run by friendly, caring people, who serve amazing food.
Koroit is only a short drive from Port Fairy and Warnambool, so it is the ideal town for you to live if you don't want to live in a larger town.

"Irish experience in quaint village"
Koroit is a stunning Irish village located between Warrnambool and Port Fairy. It hosts an annual Irish festival celebrating its Irish roots and is also home to Tower Hill State Game Reserve. This dormant volcano has a selection of bush walks and visitors may be lucky enough to see emus, kangaroos, koalas and even the odd snake. Mickey Bourke's Hotel is a great place to visit for a hearty meal and a pot of beer or a Guinness. The annual Irish festival is held in May each year. The community event boasts a host of Irish artists from all over Australia as well as the popular Danny Boy competition.
