Little Bay is a beautiful family friendly suburb. The suburb features multiple beaches, national parks, cafes and restaurants.

The demographic of this suburbs feature young couples, growing families and downsizer buyers looking for a relaxed coastal lifestyle.

Having been in and around the Little Bay area since 2012, it sure has come a long way in that time. The area feels more like a holiday destination with its friendly community, the beach only a short walk away and some amazing golf courses surrounding its boundaries. The local eateries have increased over the last few years and the quality is really good.
Little Bay feels apart of the eastern suburbs however; it doesn't. It still feels like that little hidden gem of Sydney which no one knows about (that's changed a lot of the last few years though).

Little Bay has come a great way. Since I moved into the suburbs 3 years ago, it has become a great little restaurant hub. Great Italian, Asian, Greek and our own amazing Wine and Tapas restaurant. It is great trying the various options. Our favourite is the Wine and Tapas restaurant Little Lily's which has amazing cocktails, great wine list and a large selection of craft beers. The owners and the staff are extremely friendly and my wife and I love to visit this place.

Little bay has a great beach which is very shallow and safe for kids and has all the necessary amenities: doctor, dentist, supermarket, dry cleaner, chemist, liquor shop and news agent. You really don't need to leave the suburb.

Little Bay has it all: great neighbourhood schools, low poverty and violent-crime rates, and a six-figure median household income ($AUD109,933). Residents can access the Sydney CBD in just 17 minutes, or escape the bustle of the big city at the Bay's many Golf courses. A very safe environment for your kids to grow. Very friendly neighbours and literally a resort like feel to the area. I have been living here for 3 years and cannot even imagine living anywhere else in Sydney now. If you like space, you'll LOVE Little Bay.

Coming from western suburbs and moving here all I have to say is what a great decision😀 great people peaceful so close to the city and beaches. Eveytime I come home I feel like I'm on a holiday. I truly believe this is the greatest suburb in sydney. Oh yea def the cleanest suburb they really look after the area

quiet, community focused, surrounded by beaches, national park and golf clubs, and still in Randwick city.

Just moved here from Randwick. Worlds away from the hustle and bustle for just 10 mins extra drive to city. Bought a home 4 - 5 times larger than Randwick for same price, yet minutes walk to beaches, golf clubs, nice cafes. Love it!

I love Little Bay -best place to live,close to airport ,city by bus and the buzz of Randwick escpiaclly the 5 ways and Ritz cinema.
The only negative is the housing commision units nearby which need to be sold off for private housing.If you pay 1/2 million for a one bedroom unit you do not want housing commision units nearby.

With another child on the way we needed more room and less neighborly noise. It was either another Bondi unit with an extra third bedroom or a delpilated semi & I still had concerns whether that would satisfy the brief. Then we noticed the peaceful suburb of Little Bay. Lucky for us we did not have a strict criteria in regard to location or standard of presentation, we are the Gen-Y mid twenty type, but not the spoilt or fussy kind - we were flexible & opened minded.
We found a new 4 bedroom home for under the $1mil mark (incl. stamp duty). Best decision we ever made and I am now a changed man. I don't know how or why we tolerated the traffic every morning, the overly crowded almost parkingless shopping centres, the neighbours who all seemed to have an agenda to prove or the public transport that always took longer than on foot. Versus the Bondi/Waverley area, Yes, in Little Bay the drive to the shops maybe further but travel time is definatley shorter (traffic lights are a rarity here still), the neighbors actually care for one another & the kids are still able to play on the streets. Reminds me of the Suburb Bronte that I grew up in before the boom - simple, peaceful & with 'plenty of room to move'
