"Good for an older family or students looking for a place to stay"
Living in the Swan Valley areas you learn about the good and bad of the area. Middle Swan has got a bad reputation as a suburb with let just say not the nicest neighbours, friends of ours had alot of issues with that and in the end moved to another suburb.

"Middle Swan's a great place for families to grow together"
There is so much open space available for families in Middle Swan - parks, ovals, bushland. Great for kids to run and play and fabulous if you have dogs. House prices are much lower in this area - but why?? We have public transport, space, all services and a great outlook that's within walking distance to some great wineries (Jane Brook, Garbin Estate) and restaurants (Cafe de Vine and Chapel Farm).
Some people think of Middle Swan as having a bad reputation. We have lived here for 10 years and have grown to love the great families in our neighbourhood and have had so many good times at the local park and oval. We had one small minor theft from the carport 5 years ago and apart from that had no other problems (we lived with a gate onto a back oval) and felt safe and secure at all times.
It's a friendly and affordable place to live.
