"Lovely rural township close to Perth metro area"
Muchea is known as a 'horse town', it seems nearly everyone in Muchea has horse/s and is a horse fanatic. Beautiful housing on large blocks of land, people tend to really take pride in their gardens. Quiet, safe, friendly neighbours. The Muchea Roadhouse not only gives excellent customer service but also provides nearly everything you may need - fuel, gas bottles, mail/post services, food, toiletries, magazines, firewood.. as well as basic necessities for horses etc. Only a 20 min drive to Bullsbrook for more shopping options, and only 40 min drive to Joondalup (metro area) for a major shopping centre with connecting Transperth train station.
Great for
- Beautiful housing, large blocks of land, good value
- Muchea Roadhouse has excellent services
- Friendly and quiet neighbours
Not great for
- Sometimes train noise
- Have to be very careful and alert during bushfire season
- Proximity to shopping/services
