Reviews of Roelands, WA

"Dairy farming town with big cow."

Brunswick Junctionis known for its dairy farms and has a large statue of a Frisian cow affectionately call daisy, standing in the town park. Located on the South Western highway between Harvey and Bunbury, Brunswick Junction is a scenic town with many historical buildings to see as well as many forest areas. Being only 26 kms from Bunbury, and with a population of only 800 residents, Brunswick Junction is serviced by the Australind passenger train. The town is also known for its manna crabs and prawns. There are some great beaches in this area with boating fishing and swimming being very popular. Dolphins are often seen very close to people here and have been known to interact well with humans. There are two primary schools here the Brunswick Junction Primary and St Michaels catholic primary. Students go to high school in Bunbury. There is a good medical centre in town and a large fully equipped hospital also in Bunbury, There are many sporting clubs and association which use the playing fields for many different sports. People are friendly here and all too happy to lend you some assistance where needed.
