"Sad place"
I have lived there for since 2009 and it's been a sad most depressing place of my life it's a big mistake we've made moving to this town as full of people divorced that town is not friendly and town full of users . I don't recommend this place to live here no talk to anyone I have been to local gatherings it just had a Black cloud of over it I have seen 12 divorces in the same street the town cooked

"Rural, convenient, friendly"
Snake Valley is a forgotten hideaway... I almost said awaiting discovery, but most residents probably don’t want it to be discovered. When progress finally catches up with the community, the charm will be forever lost.

Hey, sorry its been such a tough experience for you! it can feel very quiet and a bit closed off somewhere if you havent found your people.
A lot of locals connect through things like the school, sport, the pub, the CFA or volunteering, and if youre not part of those circles it can feel isolating. Have you looked into these?
Does being so close to Ballarat help?
Out of curiosity, if you could wave a magic wand, what do you think would make Snake Valley feel more liveable or welcoming for you?
