Reviews of South Fremantle, WA
"Great place to live…if you can afford it!"
Love the beach, its a little pocket of paradise. Nice mix of people in the community. Not the safest area though, have seen some things since living here which make me nervous with a family. Its a shame the rents are so high and food - it excludes a lot of people being able to enjoy living here.

"All ages welcome"
There seems to be a great diversity in ages with the very young to the very old who all mix well together. Many streets are tiny and its common to know all your neighbours. Frequently people are walking their dogs to the beach or having a barbie in the parks. The proximity to beaches, shops, parks and eateries means you can leave the car at home. It has a delightful range of house styles with old sitting comfortably next to the new. For those with an interest in heritage properties there are plenty to be found. Artists and professionals are equally drawn to this little piece of paradise, where the pace is just that bit slower than its dowtown neighbour.

"Holiday lifestyle"
South Fremantle is the nicest suburb I've lived in, it really does tick all the boxes. If you enjoy the costal lifestyle and a real sense of community, enjoy cafes and restaurants then this really is an ideal place to live. There is by far the best bakery, coffee shops and eateries in the area and the community spirit is ripe. Wray avenue will provide you with the cheapest fruit and veg you'll find around, Peaches will provide you with the best quality and plenty of seafood suppliers within walking distance. The beach is unreal, especially if you have the four legged variety it is a fun social atmosphere not experienced anywhere else. I love south fremantle!
