Reviews of Streatham, VIC

"A small friendly town that offers a peaceful and rewarding existence."

Streatham has a lot of history, as amongst many things it being a stop off for the Cobb and co. coach in the 19th century. Originally called fiery creek ,as the town is situated on the banks of the fiery creek. The creek runs to its destination at Lake Bolac. Local businesses have prospered in the town over a long period of time within the well renowned high rainfall versatile farming country. Offering realistic and affordable priced housing with the town being an easy and economical placement to larger towns including Ballarat and Ararat. With the development of the gas fired power station at Mortlake and wind power infastructure near Beaufort in the construction phase, it would seem that Streatham is well placed to provide an opportunity for any future residents.
