Reviews of Yarragon, VIC
"Local Treasure"
Yarragon is a tightly kept gem you would have passed through on the Monash Freeway to/from Melbourne to Traralgon, between Warragul and Trafalgar. 81% of residents are owner occupiers, with the area being popular among downsizers and young families.
Fondly known for its many local markets, this small but mighty country town offers various local cafes, shopping and more.
To describe this town in three words: lovely, welcoming and a treasure. Find out for yourself by having lunch at Café Piccolo or one of the best bakeries around, followed by shopping at local stores for homewares, antiques, lollies and more, and dinner at the Yarragon Hotel.

"A great place to raise a family"
lovely village feel and old world charm. Going to the local botique shops feels like being on a holiday. it feels safe here, there are plenty of playgrounds and it is nice to see people out walking their dogs or riding their bikes.
Apart from the sports club, there is the local community group, the lions club, arts club, the business group, and others to be involved in, which helps to get the sense of community. There are also three churches one can get involved in.
