Sunshine North, VIC 3020

I have lived here under a year and have experienced being threatened multiple times by neighbours. A serious gang crime also occurred shortly after moving in. Not suitable for families, unsafe for pedestrians. Maribrynong River is pretty and some of the restaurants in Sunshine are good but I wouldn't recommend this area to my worst enemy.

Nice quiet suburb, close to the city and still affordable. Good development plans in place to improve Maribyrnong river area. All it needs now is a cafe and for a few more shops to open...

such a terrible place and the reason why its terrible is that its very dirty, weird, high crime rates and disgusting, i regret visiting

Been in the west for 14 years, love this area where the area is nicely divided, talking about Duke, Berkshire and mc Intyre area. The other area is normal, Albion part probably ok. I thought it is safer from Braybrook and sunshine where there are a lot of thieves. Even though I experienced 1on in my rental place, 1 next to my home in Sunshine North. lots of hydroponics in area, could not believe it.
The shops in North Thumberland becomes so hectic lately with crazy traffic. There are a lot of shoppings nearby if you want Sunshine convenient but do not want to be near station, the thieves just snatch stuff in your home and jump into the train, nowadays probably they have cars...
The area is so shining and well established, although many houses been demolished for now ones, many more nice cars in the area, extremely easy to access to freeway and city, of course Ballarat road just become more and more crowded wherever you go. Social activity??? Have not got a chance to experience. Work all the time....
