Sykes Avenue, Innaloo, WA 6018

We moved to Sykes Ave about 13 years ago - back then it was all freestanding homes on 700m+ blocks with a few villas thrown in. They have now built a large apartment block and lots of townhouses in the street which has impacted local traffic and difficulty with parking. Some of the residents have lived in Sykes for over 50 years, and there are some really lovely people there. I imagine one day all the old houses will be gone and replaced with villas and townhouses. We love being able to walk to the train station easily. Great location for public transport.
