"Great Inner Suburb Living"
Sylvan Rd is a great place to live. Half way between the Brisbane City and the University of Queensland it is an amazing location.
Shopping wise the street is close to Toowong Village, a small shopping centre and only a train ride, or five minute drive, from the larger Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.
Close to Toowong State School and the presitigous Brisbane Boys College, as well as an easy bus or City Cat ride to UQ, Sylvan Rd has great access to educational institutions.
On the river end of the Street is the well known Regatta Hotel and adjoining restauants, a bustling night spot for people of all ages, but especially a hot spot for UQ students.
Traffic can be a noise factor due it's proximity to the major Coronation Drive and Milton Rd.
