A sanctuary to enjoy and nestled by the Yarra River, is Finns Reserve. This is a great place to get active and enjoy nature. The Wombat Bend Playspace provides an excellent play area with plenty activities for children. Other popular parks include Birrarrung Park and Ruffey Lake Park which has amazing playground areas for children and is perfect for family and friends to get together, offering covered barbecue and picnic areas. Other parks and reserves of note are Bimbadeen Park, Lynwood Parade Reserve and Andromeda Reserve, not to mention the popular Westerfolds Park just moments away.
