I think it depends on your life style and age. I'm a 60 year old beach lover. I love the beach cafe's, surf and walk along the beaches. I think that all the three places are a little to busy for me however if you make me choose I would go for Mooloolaba.

Mooloolaba...may be a bit biased but a few reasons as below..
* More 1 bedroom units to choice from
* Higher occupancy rates for holiday accommodation, better returns?
* more centralised, cluster of shops, restaurants, cafe's etc

Alex Heads & Maroochy also have there benefits but as a 3month accommodation scenario I personally think Mooloolaba would be a more enjoyable option..
