"A wonderful holiday feeling."
Toowoon Bay Road is quite long, running from the lake and ending up at the beach. It has a lovely little shopping village with the best pie and cake shop on the coast. Coast 89 and The Bay Café (both BYO) have the best atmosphere for small intimate dinners by candlelight. The beach is more like a bay and is wonderful for children, or those who like to swim or use their paddle boards. Toowoon Bay surf club serves great coffee while sitting in the sun basking up the glorious day.
Great for
- You can be at the lake at one end and the beach at the other.
- Has a real holiday feeling.
- Fairly quiet road.
Not great for
- Sometimes parking can be difficult near the beach.
- Limited parking around the shopping village.
