Why is land value in traralgon decreased so much in last year?

Hi guys, I am looking into buying a house in Traralgon, but I was shocked to find out the land value has decrease 20% in 2019 compare to last year. Anyone know the reason why?

Well I haven't been in the area long but the crime rate is high, so is unemployment, air pollution is also a big problem.

I'm absolutely sure you could find some great land or a house somewhere but you'd have to do some real digging.

glenn-townsendg Is the air pollution bad from the loy yang power station? I've been looking at houses at the south end of Traralgon or is it just the paper mill that smells?
