Bargara

"What does one say"

Bargara, it wasn't till I stayed here for a few days with a friend that I realised just what a beautiful place this is, we would get up early in the morning just before sunrise and go for a walk down to the beach and watch the sunrise WOW! Spectacular is the only word I can use to describe this best of all early morning experiences.

If you haven't had an early morning sunrise on the beach don't wait to long, there's nothing like it, you have to experience it at least once in your life, I promise you, you won't regret getting up before the sun does and heading for the beach, Bargara it's Paradise.

Eumundi

"Mad On The Market"

Eumundi and it's market, don't be late or you'll never get a park, when the market is on in this place you'd better be on your toes, because the place is a mad house, plenty to see and do but trying to move anywhere can be difficult.

Arrived here one morning several years ago and left just as quick, drove around for a time looking for a spot to park but gave up in disgust it was mayhem, so as I said don't be late but then some people don't mind all the madness that surrounds the market in Eumundi.

Market day is very busy and you cannot park in the street very easily unless you know where to go. However there are ample car parks around and it is well worth it to experience on of the best markets around. Don't miss it next time in town, you can also get a drop off from the Tour companies in Noosa,

Noosa Heads

"Noosa Top Spot"

Noosa Heads a great place for a holiday, plenty to do and see, nice beaches, good walking tracks and if you don't mind the crowds shopping's great if you're into that sort of thing. Noosa Heads is a town by the seaside and has plenty of activities that involve the water, skiing, fishing, boating, hire a BBQ boat and take a trip on the river, best BBQ ever.

City

"The Countries Capital"

Canberra, many a time one here's about this place being cold and a bit hard on the physical side to live with, but on my trip to this our nations Capital I've not found cold at all but then maybe I haven't struck when the wind is blistering down out of the high country which may well turn the place into an ice box, but then that's what you get when you're in the hot seat. Canberra has many fine places to visit and it' s well worth the trip the the nations Capital.

Beaudesert

"Ghost or Bust"

On e could be forgiven for thinking that Beaudesert was a Ghost town should one arrive here after midday Saturday, the very first time I went out there from the hustle and bustle of the big smoke I wondered what I had driven into, there were so few people around I thought I was in a Ghost town, but come a week day and wow what a difference there is this town is a thriving rural center and is full of activity and the difference between weekend and week days is quiet remarkable.

Beaudesert as a whole is a nice country town, more and more people are discovering Beaudesert and there's only one way this place can go forward, housing here is still reasonably priced although there are a number of places around town that would be on a par cost wise with places in Brisbane.

Beaudesert' advantage at the moment is that it still has that peaceful country atmosphere but for how much longer? this is the question. As Brisbane spills out into the surrounding areas places like Beaudesert can only get bigger not smaller.

When all said and done Beaudesert is less than an hours drive from Brisbane and when the Mt Lindsay highway is upgraded to a dual courage way the trip between Beaudesert and Brisbane will be a snap, it's not bad at present but as traffic builds up this will change.

Overall Beaudesert is a pretty reasonable place when all said and done!

Byron Bay

"How Far East Can You Go?"

Well it's about as far East on main land Australia as you can go and up at the Light House is it there isn't any place further East, from the Light House the views of the surrounding country side is just fantastic and the beach here don't look half bad either, unfortunately I didn't have the time to check it out, just a quick look around and gone.

"What do you say about Wollongong"

For those of us that love the coast but can't afford to be right on it this is an ideal place, with many fantastic beaches nearby Wollongong can certainly provide a good choice of beaches from the sheltered to the more boisterous there's many to choose from.

Kooralbyn

"A Top Neighborhood Waiting?"

Is kooralbyn the next Top Neighborhood waiting in the wings for people to find out what a fantastic little place it is?

Many people don't realise that Kooralbyn even exists really, and just why is that, well it's the age old problem this place has always had, right from the very early days of Kooralbyn there was never enough publicity, and here's the key, the natural beauty of the place speaks for itself, so when you find out about this place tell everyone you know about it..

Property is very reasonably priced but it won't always be that way, yes it, may go up and down but as with all realestate it will rise, so why don't you buy out here now? The perception is that Kooralbyn is a long way out, my question is from were?

You don't mind spending an hour or more in the car crawling along the road to work so why not spend some of that time drive along at a reasonable pace on free flowing roads and less time being frustrated sitting in that terrible city traffic on the so called freeway.

The bottom line is that you can have it all and for many sooner rather than later, make sure you check Kooralbyn out, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Brooks Dr

"Brooks Drive, Kooralbyn, Queensland, Australia"

Accessing Brooks Drive is easy, but to get there you need to turn off Wellington Bondock Dr and head up Boomerang Dr or a little further on Haygarth Dr. The rise up to Brooks Dr is fairly steep as you travel a relatively short distance but climb almost 300m in about 2 km, but the effort is worth it as the views from Brooks Dr and particularly the Lookout at the top are just spectacular, and it's so quiet that you can hear nature all around you, in fact I'd say the sound of quietness is almost deafening.
