I love sydney, there is so much to do, its pretty easy to get around and a great mix of cultures. I come from a small area and i am still getting used to the sydney attitude many have which to mean comes across as rude and in your face, i avoid driving if i can, and it is expensive to live.

I love chatswoods. i am a lover of asian culture, the shopping is great and transport is great. downsides: it is over priced for housing and traffic is crazy, the locals can be quite rude and not very considerate and the chase is more for the rich

until recently i had lived in the southern highlands all my life, mittagong was the place to go, the only downsides are the train station location and getting around without a car, the transport is horrible! and the shops are spread to far apart.

People there are complete snobs, if you live in moss vale or Mittagong they will look down on you. shop workers are usually rude but the shops are all pretty close together, on weekends its not the safest place to be on the main street due to the pub crawlers, way to expensive, and public transport is horrible.

I lived there all my life but have now moved. It used to be very safe and lovely but now once the weather warms up teenagers and preteens run the streets at night, they harass people of all ages and nationalities. Many move from the city to find there is no work, transport is horrible! it is a junkie hot spot. there's a high chance your car or house will be robbed and police will take a long time to come and if they show up the chances of them helping you is unlikely. People don't have manners, and it is a very boring place!

I haven't lived here very long, its pretty easy to get around. I have found that if you are a young full Australian female walking about on your own in day or night it can be quite intense when it comes to people with different nationalities, i have been followed to and from my home by groups of males and men on their own by foot and when they are in cars quite a few times. I like to be home by 5.30 to avoid the groups of men that are either from Pakistan/India or are middle eastern as that is when they seem to be out harassing girls, other then that its not too bad for rent and its very close to Parramatta.
