Sunrise Drive

"Great Estate - Quality homes"

Affectionately known as the Sunrise Estate by many locals, this estate was created in the late 1980's / Early 1990's offering many quality spacious homes. The services (power/phone) are all run underground removing unsightly overheads from the area.

From my experience many residents here are quite "house proud" and have immaculate landscaped gardens. A bus service (Route 518) runs through the Estate and gives easy access to both St Helena Market Place & Greensborough Station/ Plaza.

Quality Private & Public Schools are nearby & the estate is zoned for St Helena Secondary School.

Easy access via Diamond Creek Road gains you easy access to the Western Ring Road (Airport/City) or the bypass road into Watsonia/Rosanna.

Eltham North

"A Newer Part Of Eltham Town"

Eltham North like Eltham it is a friendly family community with great schools, sporting clubs and other youth social clubs throughout the area. It offers great expanses of parklands (The adventure playground & Soccer grounds off Wattle Tree Road an old favorite).
Mainly built out in the Mid 1980's - 1990's the suburb offers a great variety of different types of homes & land holdings.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking to move into the area!

Eltham

"My Hometown"

Eltham is very special to me having lived and worked here my entire life!
it is a friendly family community with great schools, sporting clubs and other youth social clubs throughout the area. It offers great expanses of parklands throughout its quite streets and leafy suburb vista's.
A really sought after pocket in Eltham is the Woodridge Estate area with its close proximity behind Eltham's Main Street shops, many Cul De Sac's and most streets benefiting from underground power.

Great for

  • Great schools
  • Great shopping

Yes, Eltham is a great place to live with large houses, good facilities, parks, library and excellent schools but..Woodridge estate is not a particularly sought after area. South Eltham and off the Main road are much more desirable. A real estate agent with his own agenda?

We are looking in the area. What do you consider the boundary of South Eltham? and are they bigger blocks? Thanks

South of mount pleasant road

Eltham South is the best (premium pocket etc), but I'd argue Woodridge is also well-rated - smaller blocks but still quintessential Eltham.
Genuine pros & cons both ways comparing Woodridge vs near Main Rd.

Definitely real estate agent. Do a search. Stop making Eltham out of reach of normal people to live in. You guys are not working for anyone except your own pockets.
