"Amazing"
Close to cbd have 3 train stops to choose from and plenty of busses. Have a foodie street and many shops and a shopping centre.
Safe and quiet.

"Danger"
Better off moving to the inner west where its still cheap at the moment (before airport train lines open). This place full of refugees and drug users. Per the crime stats, 1 in 30 homes are broken into and 1 in 20 cars damaged/stolen.
This is not at all true.
I agree, have been here a long time and never have experienced refugees or drug users. I have no idea why someone would put such a false comment on here, maybe they just don't want more people moving into the area but this is so not true.
Wow,mate...which side of Tarneit do you live in????
"Great location and close to transport"
10km from city and affordable, has its own train station and busses too. Has many shops so convenient.
Only issue is that there isnt houses in this suburb cos its a challenge to stay here.
If you could it would be a good suburb.

"Close to cbd cheap trade off is more danger"
Its close to city and reasonable transport. But school and safty not as good as maidstone.
Its basically i cheaper maidstone (by around 50k) with the trade off being
-safty
-distance to cbd
-school zone
-public transport
If you have to rent, rent maidstone/west footscray instead.

"Far from city - bad transport not feel like you are in melbourne"
Too far from city and bad transport. Doesnt really feel like you are in melb as it is a chore to go to there and you are living in a forest with bad internet connections.
What internet do you use?
Whats so bad about the transport - public or your own vehicle? The lack of?
The whole idea is not to be in Melbourne... No issues with public transport, wheather it be bus or train for me. Close shops, nature, birdlife, trees and people. Sure beats living in congestion and noise...!
"Far from shopping and transport - time consuming do anything"
It is far from train stations or shops (even groceries). So owning a car is essential and you will struggle to get parking.
Locals not friendly so you have to fend for yourself. Quite dark at night as well, may feel unsafe.
No point walking anywhere as its all houses. Trafic is terrible and moderate noise polution from cars on the road.
not easy shopping or public transport unless you have a car. narrow driveways so that parking cars is a hard task for locals. you can't meet many Aussies because many properties are purchased buy immigrants .
"Safe and quiet suburb 8kms from the city"
Quiet and alot of parklands and close to the river for walks.
Close to city, highpoint, footscray for entertainment and work
Good schools and friendly people.
Abit far from train stations but theres alot of busses.
Houses are spreadout and roads are wide with nice footpaths for walking or biking.

"Nice quiet wide street"
Wide enough for 2 cars to pass with some parked on the road. Has good walking paths and green on the curb. Nice people and safe. Leads to good public transport on both ends of the street (essex and ballarat road)
Inner west cheap? Lol
1in 30? Where do you get these numbers from
