Church St

"Some great shopping and good eateries, although traffic is a nightmare!"

Church Street is really the major connector of Kew to Prahran. It's a bit of a thoroughfare with traffic being very heavy at peak times, and to be honest, traffic is never light.

On the flip side, there are some really good places to eat along Church Street such as Keith's Pies. Church St does connect some major streets in the area such as Bridge Road, Chapel Street and Swan Street all of which are fantastic locations. Great area to live in if you can find a decent place to rent.

I love Keith's pies :) Great place for lunch! But I reakon Keith's Pies is on Burnley Street, right near the big blue Hire-Centre place. yes/no?

Richmond

"Suburban living close to the city"

I've just moved into Richmond and I highly recommend it to anyone moving from interstate. I moved from Sydney not long ago and Richmond really does seem to have a lot going for it. Shopping is great with Bridge Rd and Victoria Gardens shopping center, and the food is fantastic again with Bridge road and also Victoria street Vietnamese.

A lot of people warned me about the crime in Richmond before I moved, but to be honest now that I live here is not bad at all. Sure you get a few dodgy people walking around, but nothing to stop you from moving here.

Great location, very close to the city, and so far i've met a whole bunch of people just by going out in the area at night, so i guess it seems very friendly as well. Very good for young singles\couples looking for a social scene.
