Bordered by National Park and bush land, but still close (30 mins) to Cronulla or Wollongong beaches. Quick trip to south coast or city by train. Best value for money in the Sutherland Shire, all price ranges and types of homes available. Plenty of quiet culdesacs, new parks, Anzac Sporting Facilities with top notch pool and gym. Heaps of childcare centres and high quality public or catholic school options. A lot of shopping in main street, just lacks a "Kmart type" store, but that keeps it quiet and country feel. Downside is lack of parking around town, tight street now footpath has been widened, do sometimes get the smell of the tip and sound of the army firing practice, and also if you are close to the bush you could get rats or snakes :) Also, too hilly if you like a nice bike ride !!....but overall, low crime, and ideal for raising a large family !!
