Depends mate.

PC for games and work. Apple for home entertainmnt (eg. web surfing, email for the wife). I'd say apple for mums and dads.

I'd love an intel mac and have my vista on that :)

Thanks for your reply and sharing your thoughts on this question. As for me, I use a PC of everything and I suspect my next machine might be a Mac.

I have used Mac machines while attending college and I love their OS. I'm not a gamer but I’m a heavy user using Photoshop, Quark etc...

Cheerio mate and enjoy your weekend!!!

PC :)

Apple all the way advisor2008. I would highly recommend you using a Mac as your next computer, especially if you use a lot of Photoshop and design"y" stuff.

Thanks for your feedback accountjockey. I agree with you regarding Mac's. My main concern was buying all NEW software for the new purchase. I suspect that I started with PC’S because those are my initials…. LOL!

Do you prefer notebooks or desktops mate?

Someone at worked just picked one up an arrived today. It's amazing, and the new sturdy aluminum build is a massive improvement over the existing one. My one feels a little flimsy to pick up as it has some flex and bend in it. I would upgrade my existing laptop, but to be honest I just don't think there is enough of an improvement over mine to justify it. The only major letdown as well is that it only comes in a glossy finish...oh and they are also expensive as hell!!

Mac for me too, and I managed to convert my wife and mother over. They don't miss the constant Windows update alerts or Norton saying "Time to pay for your annual virus subscription".
