Once again, the gambling event of the year is nearly upon us ... the Race that stops the Nation .... The Melbourne Cup.

I cannot wait for Melbourne Cup, it's a great day. I'm hoping to have much better luck at Melbourne Cup than I did at Caulfield Cup. Also, I refuse to let any people comment on the races unless they have been. I hear too many people complain about the races, yet they have no idea what it really is about. All they hear about are the trashy drunk people and stay clear. That's like saying you don't want to go the AFL grand final cus of all the drunks! It's the spectacle of it all that makes it.
