Reviews of Viveash, WA
"Secluded, desirable, riverside location."
Viveash is a secluded suburb 'behind' Woodbridge and Midland, near Morrison Rd and grt Northern Hwy. Its main feature is that it is positioned right on the river with walking trails and grassland easily accessed for walking and as a nice softening touch in an urban area. The grassy reserves, like Reg Bond Reserve, are a major part of the area and perhaps take up more space than the housing allocation. If you dogs wanting a good run or feel the desire to kick a football then this is the place to go! Major features of the area are the Swam Districts Hospital and the Midland Brickworks. The access to schools is good with a number of private schools in the area and the local public schools. The Midland train station is minutes away as is the Midland Gate and main shopping centres. The land was apparently developed by the Midland Brickworks in 1967 and called Viveash in 1968 after a Dr Samuel Waterman Viveash who was an early landholder in the area after arriving in the Swan River Colony in 1838. There is currently a mix of old and new housing with recent redevelopment and the area is home to a mix of families, couple and singles.
