We are thinkng of moving to Kilmore or Wandong - how is the commute to the city?

Is the lifestyle worth the extra commute time? Are the trains crowded? Any other things we should know about the two areas?

trains can be crowded at times - but not overly so. commute on train takes just under an hour to southern cross
by car - takes about 30mins to get to epping.
my husband commutes each day without too much hassle. drive does get monotonous though.
bypass about to go through - so watch for section 32's in the area for properties affected.
i would recommend wandong so much more than kilmore.

Hi,

You have Hudson Park, Kilmore Creek, the golf course, parks, great markets, wonderful main stretch of shops, awesome community feel, great neighborhood. It is definitely worth the commute to the CBD. Nature at it's best.

I hope this helps! :)

Thanks

Not when I have been on them, but I commute the other way. On the train, my coverage would always drop out in Kilmore East but return by Broadford- Wandong was fine (I'm with telstra)
