"Central Location"
The thing I like about Waratah is that it is so central. It is easy to get to almost anywhere in Newcastle, a few minutes to Kotara, the Waratah Village, Newcastle Central, Mayfield, Hamilon, Jesmond, Lambton etc are all only minutes drive away.
I also find Waratah a most peaceful and enjoyable location even though there is shopping always close by. If you want to get on a bus then you can find buses going nearly anywhere only a short distance from most areas.
