Where are the safer family friendly streets to locate to in West Footscray?
Have looked at a place on Stanhope st, Busch St, Alberta st, Robbs any comments?
Any areas to avoid? I have a young family and want a safe area.

Coral Avenue and Govan street are great quiet street with their own community groups. Kids all playing together and street drinks/catch ups regularly

West footscray is a safe area. The safety of your young family will not depend on the street you live on within this small pocket of melbourne. If you're afraid of Footscray choose somewhere else to live. West footscray is a very welcoming, diverse suburb full of lots of young families. I don't share your perception at all and I would never choose to live in a suburb I believed was unsafe.

What perception? Please don't make assumptions about what you think my perception/opinion is. I asked a question about which streets were family friendly, if you believe it to be all of them you can say that with out projecting.
