"Busy street as long as Toowoomba"
West street is quite long but the south end is reasonably fast to travel on as there are less traffic lights than Ruthven (main) street. Can be a very busy street in peak hours. West street is handy to shopping centres and food franchises located on the southern end of Ruthven street, Many students in area, particularly unit blocks as close to University of Southern Queensland.
