My wife and I have just bought a property from a family member who had lived in the street since 1948. Quiet location (even quieter since the Toowoomba bypass was constructed), a block from a good ALH hotel and Uncle Dan (Dan Murphy's for the uninitiated). Never had a crime issue in 72 years. Adjacent to the Geddes Street character precinct, and a 10 minute walk to my work in Toowoomba City. Close to Lake Annand and great restaurants. Suits this 30 something childless couple perfectly.

Jennings Street is a really quiet and peaceful street parallel to the Warrego Highway. It is also close to the Federal Hotel and Dan Murphy's Bottle Shop. It is a short walk to a lot of shopping centres as well as service stations and other stores.

There is also some parkland on the Eastern end of Jennings over Kitchener Street.
