Does anyone have any advice about Disney Street? Is it a safe area in White Rock?

Cairns Council has lots to answer for!. Allowing developments in areas whereby in NSW would never been sanctioned. We are I guess unfortunate in the fact that we came from interstate and bought a property, thought we made all the relevant enquiries via council, however the development we live in is nothing short of a disgrace. In the wet it resembles a moat!. On the market and hopeful of getting away from Cairns back to NSW. The word paradise is overstated. Interstate buyers, be aware and do not buy in the 'dry' season, as sadly we did.

Should be ok as it's better quality of housing, etc, but the sand flies and mozzies will drive you mad. At the time the council did not want that development to go through as there was concerns about croc's, housing being so near the mangroves.

Marlin, that is the trouble with Cairns Council!. Supposedly did not want developments to 'go through', however for some reason (maybe the mighty dollar) they did. Like I say this Council has a lot to answer for.
