Hi there. I can recommend the area off Mercurio St (the other end of Tiffany St ending in Giffin Rd). It is called an estate but can't remember the name on the sign. I moved here with my husband and young son in Feb 2013 from Melbourne. Our area has a family friendly vibe and most importantly does not have a problem with mozzies/sandflies which I've heard can be an issue in the areas behind TAS. I can't make comparisons to the other areas of White Rock, but our area is pretty tidy and the houses cheery (gardens maintained etc). We get a nice cool breeze and my son likes the wallabies lol
I can't comment on the primary school as our son is day-care age. The area lacks bike paths and sometimes you can hear the speedway but that hasn't bothered us. We are currently renting and were considering buying in our area of White Rock, but I am over the commute to JCU so have decided to move once our lease expires. Good luck with your decision-making process :)
