Hervey Bay rates?

Wide Bay-Burnett Region is located in the state of Queensland.

We are considering a move there but the rates quoted on houses we like seem to be ridiculously high compared with other regions of Queensland. I can't see why?

Our rates do include water consumption charges which can be charged separately compared to other areas.
