Reviews of Woronora Heights, NSW
"Horrible Suburb!"
I have lived in Woronora Heights for 3 years now, and I can't wait to leave! There is nothing good I can say about it, from the terrible, unreliable public transport to the non-existent neighbourly love.
Not great for
- Limited shops/restaraunts
- No pubs or clubs

There is also various community buses from the Engadine RSL, Engadine Tavern (pub) and Engadine Bowling Club. 5mins from home!
Been in Woronora Heights for 24 years. It is lovely and quiet, plenty of places to go walking if you love the bush and nature. The bus service is regular and can take you to Engadine, Sutherland and Miranda all of which connects with trains and other services.
There is and IGA for any bits and bobs you need and the prices are not inflated.
A very child friendly area.
The only thing we have noticed is when we moved here the neighbours were much more neighbourly but as they have gone there is only a hi and a wave not real neighbourly interactions.
There is nothing to hate about Woronora Heights unless you prefer the noise of the town or cities. So peaceful and relaxing.
I moved here 3 years ago from Caringbah and i love here . Absolutely this is a heaven . I love nature and stay and spend time with family . if you dont like , iot is not a place for you . There are buses and also getting train to Engadine and transit is not that bad . My neighbours are so lovely , i was travelling overseas several times before covid , my neighbours call me to ask if they can help with to putting the bin out side and collecting mails for me ..
I guess f you are a city person love some background noise , Woronora heights is not a place for you

"A great place to live!"
Along with Yarrawarrah, Woronora Heights is seen as the more affluent part of the 2233 postcode.
Nice and secluded, it is still close to the Engadine shopping hub as well as the schools. Public transport is by bus and is fairly regular.
One thing that is unique about Woronora Heights is that there are no pubs or clubs, which fits in well with the area.
Virtually all the property is houses, many good brick homes that have been build over the last 30 years.

Woronora heights is all for the family. With it being close to all that Engadine has to offer; cafes, shops, schools and parks.
Woronora Heights has fabulous houses, parks, shops and especially great people living in it. Woronora Heights is surrounded by the National Park which provides great bush walking tracks and serene relaxing spots to wonder around. It is ideally suited to family's with big houses on offer, plus no shortage of great schools at Engadine also with great sporting clubs and venues.

Most people who live in Woronora Height enjoy the village atmosphere, the fresh air and undisturbed bushland environment. Where else can you go in Sydney for a morning walk and bump into wild wallabies, wombats and spiny anteaters. The shops now include a mini supermarket, bottle shop, cafe and childcare centre. And public transport at your door which gets you into Sydney CBD in just over an hour.
It may not be for every one, but is the best environment for raising kids in a safe, low crime, friendly community.
