Considering moving to Yamba, but need to know its a good fit for the entire family.

What are the child care facilities like for the little ones in town, as well as the extracurricular activities, primary and secondary schools for the older kids in Yamba?

I moved to this area 30 years ago with a 1 year old. Then it was a quiet seaside spot. I was however flat out taking baby to all the kiddie things available. He had a great childhood, so much to do then. Even more now. Something here for just about every interest. Ballet, my son learned piano. Plenty different sports. Loads of nice kids as friends. Good schools private and public, though for high school private need travel to Grafton. Lots of kids do this. The only problem with the area is that many children do need/move away for work once schooling is finished. Most end up in Brisbane. My boy is a software engineer now, but sadly for me he has had to move to Melbourne. Hope this helps.
