By all accounts when we have been there on holidays much friendlier then say Noosa. Small country town charm but locals probably are wary of visitors like everywhere. Put a smile on your face, buy local items and support this charming town.

buy local won't make much difference, and there aint much there as it is. Ok as far as friendliness, but still quite insular in many ways.

Yamba would have to be one of the most engaging and welcoming towns I have ever visited. The boutique shops are unique, the cafes offer amazing coffee and local food. You will not be disappointed at all with the charm of the town and its people.
