Nearest hospital is Maclean or do people usually go to Brisbane? Doctors in town?

Maclean hospital is only 10 to 20 mins away from Yamba depending on where you are leaving from. 5 mins if there is no traffic and you are at the closer end. The next nearest hospital is Grafton-about 40 mins though could be faster if no traffic. Then Ballina and LIsmore about 1 hr away. Gold coast hospital is about 2 hrs away. Brisbane is about 4 hrs away. Also the new highway which has not long been finished may shorten these times significantly. The times I stated are more the old times. There are several doctors in Yamba town, also Maclean has many doctors.
